How we set you up
One house at a time, until it works.
We don’t sell a download. Every house that uses The Spine is installed, set up and looked after by us, one by one.
Set up for you, by hand.
No two houses work alike. A gallery with a programme, an artist’s studio, a private collection, a museum with its loans: each has its own people, its own paperwork and its own rhythm.
So we install The Spine with you, and shape it around yours: your identity, the people who work in the house and what each of them may do, the way you name things, the steps you take.
We stay until it works.
There is no training to book. We set it up with your own records, so the first morning you open it, it already knows your house.
Even so, we stay with every house until it works perfectly for them.
It isn’t a support plan with levels and waiting times. It is a commitment of the house, and we keep it one client at a time.
Your words, not ours.
The terms an artist agrees to, the consent a lender signs, the answers to the questions people ask: you write them, in your own voice. We help you get them right.
Nothing arrives generic. What your artists and collectors read comes from you.
The doors are already there.
Your house probably lives among other tools: a shop, a calendar, accounting, conversations on WhatsApp. The Spine already has a door drawn for each of them, and for a phone app that carries your works in a hand.
We open them with you when we integrate, so nothing in your system is left unattended. Your email comes in from the first day.
A connector is a door, never a second brain. The house stays in charge: what comes in through a door lands as something to look at, and a person confirms it. And when a door opens, nothing about who you are travels through it.
A safe place to settle in.
While your house is being set up, a sandbox holds every letter it would send. You can read each one, see exactly what would have gone out, and open the gate when you are ready.
Nothing leaves by mistake while you are still finding your way around.
